Happy President's Day to all our American friends - hope you are all still in bed, eating nachos (that seems a very apt way to celebrate somehow...)
Great news! Today we became the most successful Mythica project yet in terms of number of backers! We should also surpass our first stretch goal very shortly. Which means we have 38 hours to hit our 2nd stretch goal, and maybe even our third! That'd be amazing!
To that end, I am adding my favorite artistic work created for the Mythica series... Thane's armor. I am loathe to sell this, because I love it so much, and it's so beautifully made... but ultimately I guess I'd love it in the hands of someone who will really appreciate it.
THANE'S ARMOUR - the crown jewel in the Mythica props collection, this is a unique set of armor, made from a very thick leather by David Powell, entirely custom-built for Mythica 4 and 5 for Adam Johnson. Armor set also includes cape, hand-made aluminum sword, and wood and leather shield. Includes an 11x17 poster of Thane - signed by Adam Johnson - and the BLURAY FAN PACK PLUS20.

Hi Friends,
Great news for Mythica fans across the country - they can now pick up Mythica 2: The Darkspore in Walmart stores nationwide. Mythica 1: A Quest for Heroes is also there, and continues to sell well.
But we do need your help spreading the word. First week sales are very important in the DVD retail business. Right now we have a pretty great placement - two DVD slots in the new release end-caps in Walmart stores. However, if we don't do well this week, they'll bump us out, and people will have a hard time discovering the film.
So - what can you do to spread the word? Please download this image, and place it in your Facebook or Twitter feed, and let your friends know to pick up there copy. If we all do it, millions of people will know to go get Mythica. Hey, it's a great Valentine's gift for the fantasy fan in your life!

MYTHICA 2 TRAILER POPULAR ON HULU
The other big news since our Mythica 2 DVD launch yesterday - the Mythica 2 trailer came out on Hulu, and we're #2 most popular - along with a bunch of big Hollywood films. Not too shabby.
We're #2! We're #2!
And lastly, we only have a week to go. Each dollar extra that we raise goes towards making this film better. We won't cut any corners on post-production. It'll be awesome.

Closing in on Mythica 3...

So, at 1450 backers we have passed Mythica 2, and are closing in on Mythica 3... we got 1478 backers on that. The real goal is to surpass the 1527 we got on Mythica 1, and I know we can do that!
I called our actors to enlist their help in a final push towards success... here's what they had to say about that:
But truly, I want to echo the cast... thanks so much for your support. We have a little over 4 days to go on this thing... it would be great to reach our stretch goals! With that in mind, here's a few ways to boost our numbers:
1. BACKERKIT - HOW DOES THAT WORK?
So, for those of you new to Kickstarter, Backerkit is a survey tool we use to collect you shipping info, and allow you to add-on extra rewards (something Kickstarter doesn't currently facilitate).
So - do you want an additional reward or item listed here - just add the money now. Go to MANAGE - the button to the right of the main video on our Kickstarter page. Then click on CHANGE MY PLEDGE when the new screen loads. There you can change your pledge amount... don't change your reward choice, just add the appropriate amount of money... for instance, say you want a Mythica 2 Bluray - just add $30 to your current pledge. Or maybe you want the Kevin Sorbo Fan Pack and a t-shirt - just add $20 for the t-shirt tier. Easy.
When your Backerkit survey comes out, you will be able to select the additional rewards.
So - if you are planning on adding rewards on Backerkit, add the money now and contribute towards reaching the Stretch Goals.
2. SHARING ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER
This is an old song we've been singing, but imagine if every single backer posted a message on Facebook today, sharing the Kickstarter link, and sharing their personal story about how they discovered Mythica, really like it, and think other fantasy fans should check it out? That'd be amazing, and this project would literally be seen by millions of people!

And with this link, share an endorsement of the series... whatever you think is true and appropriate.
And finally - how many people would be interested in a LIVE ONLINE PREMIER. Before we send out Kickstarter rewards, we could stream the film online as an event, with the actors, director, etc. We could do this as an add-on, like a t-shirt.
Or, how many people would be interested in attending a live theatrical screening with the cast? We could rent a theater in a place where the most people live -- like LA, or maybe it's Salt Lake... I'll look at the metrics. Anyone interested in that?
